It's only be almost 2 years!

Well life as an accidental mommy has happened again! Josh & I got engaged April 16th, 2011, 3 days later.... we found out we were having another oops a baby! About a month later we decided we were moving to Alabama for Josh to pursue his dreams of becoming a lawyer. So here we sit 8 months later and learning a whole new life!

First off we welcomed our amazing little boy Colton David on Dec 20 and our life has changed yet again but in the most amazing way! It is simply amazing to get to go through all the baby stages again but this time we get to see them through a toddlers eyes as he giggles with delight as his new little brother smiles at him and laughs! We also get to see our little boy grow into an amazing big brother and wow is he the best!

However life in Alabama has not be so easy, it was very hard to adjust to not having family or friends near and it has seemed that the statement out of sight out of mind rings true with the friends from home (no offense to any of you - I am sure you feel the same from my end) It was so very hard not to take it personally at first but I totally get it now and love my friends all the same and even more - because I can truly appreciate every aspect of our friendships now!

Finding a job was a joke and it only got harder the more pregnant I got! So I gave up at about 7 months pregnant. Now that Colton is 3 months I am still jobless but we make it work. I am leaving to go home for a month and when I get back I will be a full fledged licensed teacher for the state of AL. And will hopefully have an amazing high paying job so josh can quite his job and focus on school.... Keep your fingers crossed this mama stresses over that too much and would LOVE a break!!!

We are also in the process of finding someplace new to live but that is hard too - go figure! Our main reason for moving - our neighbors, and the layout of our townhome just isn't working with two kids. Oh and we need a yard really bad! So I just keep packing on the stress and moving on . I have my days where it builds up and I just cry and usually call Josh and say "I give up" it doesn't take much from him and I am back to my normal self taking on the world, kickin ass, and doing it all with a baby on my hip and a toddler clinging to my leg!

I have to be honest a friend said she was wanting to start to blog and well it reminded me that I have been thinking about this blog a lot lately and that it is the perfect place for me to be honest and get it all out into the universe! So I am hoping to take a few minutes before bed each night to clear my thoughts and put it down here. I will get more organized and it will be more about my daily adventures of a mom, almost wife, woman, friend, sister, daughter, aunt, friend you name it! Just wanted to give a quick up date in my life. So from the big comfy bed of Laura & Josh this is Laura signing off for the night! ooo now I sound like a news caster! Amazing!
